Mediation and Arbitration Fees

MEDIATION

Full Day: The fees for an 8-hour day are $3,000.00 per party. These mediation’s convene at 9:30 a.m., include a working lunch and go for as long as necessary. Mediations that go past 5:30 p.m. are invoiced at $600.00 per hour, evenly divided between the parties.

Half Day: The fees for a 4-hour day are $1,500.00 per party. These mediation’s will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mediation’s that go past 4 hours are invoiced at $600.00 per hour, evenly divided between the parties.

Two Hour: The fees for a 2-hour mediation are $1,000.00 per party. These mediation’s are from 8:00 – 10:00, 10:00 – 12:00, 1:30 – 3:30 or 3:30 – 5:30. Mediation’s that go past 2 hours are invoiced at $600 per hour, evenly divided between the parties.

ARBITRATION

All arbitration’s are based on an 8-hour day and as such, the fee is $5,000.00 from each party. Should the arbitration go past 8 hours, time will be invoiced at $600.00 per hour, evenly divided between the parties.

The fees listed above include preparation time, pre-mediation conferences and lunch for participants. In some complex situations where a substantial amount of preparation time is essential, additional costs may be proposed. Travel for out-of-town mediation’s will incur the additional costs associated with travel to the mediation site.

Fees for services must be received NO LATER than 10 days prior to the mediation. Cancellations or postponements within 5 days of the mediation date will result in a 50% penalty of the fees paid.
